Several outdoor outlets at our Dunedin home did not have proper GFCI protection or weatherproof covers. ONYX Electric upgraded the outlets and checked the exterior circuit for safety. The electrician worked neatly and explained why the covers matter in Florida weather. We are thankful the area is now properly protected.

Matthew from Onyx Electric came out to give me an estimate for the electrical work needed for my sewer connection project, and I had a really great experience. He was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing. While he was here, he also helped me troubleshoot a few outlets in the house and found the issue, which I really appreciated. ONYX Electric installed interconnected smoke and carbon monoxide detectors throughout our Brandon home. The electrician tested every unit and explained how they communicate with each other. Skyler provided a very complete and accurate estimate, answered all my questions, and made sure to include the specifics we had discussed. Zach and crew came as planned to complete the work, brought the proper equipment, coordinated with the county and WREC as needed, and did a nice neat job that passed inspection with no issues.
