This is my third time reviewing Onyx, and as always, the experience from the call for help to the finished job was such a wonderful experience. This time we had Frank come out to help us assess the problem offer reasonable and well explained solutions. He fixed the problem made sure we understood how to adjust the degree of light coming from our ceiling led lights in the future and did it with such consideration and professionalism. We have recommended Onyx to all of our neighbors and the ones that have called with problems have been just as happy as we have been. It is a comfort to know that if there is an electrical problem in the future, we know exactly who to call! This is an additional review for a wonderful company (see below review about our first experience), we called Onyx because we needed a timer installed for our outside lights and the timer for our pool completely replaced. Just like before, Onyx scheduled a time convenient for us, and Wade (the electrician) texted us a time and showed up exactly as specified. He listened to our issues, explained what he could do, gave us a quote (once again, very reasonable) and after getting the required parts proceeded to get the job done. He walked us through how to work each of the timers, cleaned up and made sure we were happy with the results. We couldn't have been happier. It is such a pleasure and relief to know that we have found a company that we can rely on. We would never hesitate to call (or recommend) if we have any other electrical issues. Called Onyx Electric to fix an outlet giving off sparks. Onyx sent out a very knowledgeable electrician, Daniel, the very next day, at the time they specified. He assessed the problem, gave us a reasonable quote and proceeded to do the work. We then had him give us a quote on all the outlets and switches throughout our house. It was more than reasonable, for the amount of new pieces and the time involved in replacing every single one. We scheduled a time the next week and right on schedule Raymond and Jose showed up and spent the next 8 hours working their way through our house and garage replacing each and every outlet and switch. They were so professional and careful in each room, cleaning up after themselves and making sure we were happy with the results in each and every room. What a refreshing and wonderful experience. I highly recommend this company and the three electricians.

After several outages in Riverview, we finally had ONYX Electric install a backup generator connection. The electrician helped plan the essential loads, completed the electrical work and tested the system under generator power. Everything worked as expected. We feel much better going into hurricane season and would recommend them.

Our washer in Wesley Chapel kept shutting off because the breaker was constantly tripping. ONYX Electric inspected the laundry circuit and found the electrical issue. The technician repaired it and gave us a clear explanation of what was happening.

Original inspector thoroughly explained all options and pricing. The next day, electricians showed up on time and completed work in the original estimated time. Following installation, they tested and labeled the panel, which was only partially labeled in my old panel. All three gentleman were polite and knowledgeable.
