Half our switches operated the wrong lights and had for years. Sam sorted all of it out, went through and rejuvenated the panel, put in a smart dimmer, mounted boxes for two Ring cameras and converted the shop lights to LED. Everything does what the switch says it does now, which sounds like a small thing and absolutely is not. Nice to have someone who does the smart home stuff and the actual electrical work.

During one of the storms we completely lost electricity and realized our backup generator wasn't switching over like it should. They came out, found the faulty connection, and got the generator operating properly again. It's reassuring knowing it'll work the next time we need it.

I contacted Onyx Electric last night to help repair a few outstanding electrical items from our home inspection that needed to be completed by today. Matthew showed up first thing this morning and was fantastic from start to finish. Wanted the front of the house and the walkway lit up properly. Rylan put in three fixtures, set up the low voltage transformers, and added weatherproof GFCI outlets outside so we weren't running anything off an extension cord. Curb appeal is completely different now and it's all on a timer so I don't think about it. He also suggested a cleaner spot for one of the fixtures than where I'd planned to put it.

We recently bought an electric vehicle and needed a charger installed in the garage. They explained where the charger would work best, installed everything neatly, and tested it before leaving. Charging at home is so much more convenient now than relying on public stations.

Cadillac Lyriq EV charger. Wade installed a home EV charger for our Cadillac Lyriq in New Port Richey. The charger was mounted in the garage near the electrical panel, and he handled the permitted installation. Wade was friendly, knew what he was doing and left the area clean. Glad to finally be able to charge the car at home.

Our pool pump suddenly stopped getting power right before family was coming over for the weekend. Called ONYX Electric and they were able to diagnose the electrical issue with the pool equipment instead of just guessing. Pool was back up and running later that day, which saved our plans.

We had some electrical issues with a breaker. Skyler came out and assessed the situation, and diagnosed a fix for with our electrical lines to our AC unit. He was very efficient and it was completely fixed within 24 hours.
