Brianna McKee9 hours agoI contacted Onyx Electric last night to help repair a few outstanding electrical items from our home inspection that needed to be completed by today. Matthew showed up first thing this morning and was fantastic from start to finish. He thoroughly reviewed our home and the work that needed to be done, and took the time to explain everything and provide his feedback before getting started. He completed all of the work with close attention to detail and made sure all of our questions were answered along the way. We could not be happier with the service Matthew provided! We would absolutely recommend the Onyx Electric team. From their communication and responsiveness to the quality of their work and overall level of service, Onyx is without a doubt a 5-star company. We will definitely be using them again for any future electrical needs!
Leighann Hambleton20 hours agoWanted the front of the house and the walkway lit up properly. Rylan put in three fixtures, set up the low voltage transformers, and added weatherproof GFCI outlets outside so we weren't running anything off an extension cord. Curb appeal is completely different now and it's all on a timer so I don't think about it. He also suggested a cleaner spot for one of the fixtures than where I'd planned to put it.
Edward Brawner22 hours agoWe recently bought an electric vehicle and needed a charger installed in the garage. They explained where the charger would work best, installed everything neatly, and tested it before leaving. Charging at home is so much more convenient now than relying on public stations.

They send me a very fine/very professional very friendly and very knowledgeable electrician his name is Mr. Wade N. He did excellent job!!!! he is the keeper for company . Because of Mr. Wade N. Troy Reichert2 days agoCadillac Lyriq EV charger. Wade installed a home EV charger for our Cadillac Lyriq in New Port Richey. The charger was mounted in the garage near the electrical panel, and he handled the permitted installation. Wade was friendly, knew what he was doing and left the area clean. Glad to finally be able to charge the car at home.
Peter Fast2 days agoOur pool pump suddenly stopped getting power right before family was coming over for the weekend. Called ONYX Electric and they were able to diagnose the electrical issue with the pool equipment instead of just guessing. Pool was back up and running later that day, which saved our plans.

Charles Baker3 days agoWe were redoing the inside of our house and needed a lot of lighting moved and added — recessed lights adjusted in the living room, sconces in the dining room and entry, kitchen pendants relocated, and new vanity lighting over both mirrors in the master bath. They added a switch where we needed one and ran everything cleanly. They were upfront that there'd be some drywall patching needed and had us sign off on it beforehand, which I'd rather know going in than find out after.
